Creative Direction

Altograno is a new ingredient innovation by Casillo Group, one of Italy’s leading food companies. Our team partnered directly with the CEO to bring this revolutionary, health-forward grain to market, from naming and positioning to full visual identity and packaging design. I was responsible for developing the final creative concept, including the logo, visual system, photography and imagery, and packaging design, which was ultimately selected by the client and brought to market. I drew inspiration from the modular tile patterns of Bari, Italy - a nod to the region’s milling heritage and craftsmanship. The identity celebrates modularity and texture, reflecting both the ingredient’s origin and its versatility across bread, pastries, and pasta. Over the course of the project, I explored five brand concepts before finalizing the direction that was ultimately selected and launched nationwide. Alto Grano now lives as a full product line available across Italian markets, embodying the perfect balance of tradition, innovation, and design clarity.
